What is it?
Seat at the Table is a salon dinner that combines world-class content with the opportunity for attendees to discuss and collaborate on a topic that inspires them to take their companies and careers to the next level.
Who will be there?
30-40 of Austin's movers and shakers will sit down with the speakers from our storytelling event, 2X, from the night before including:
- Deb Gabor who has led brand strategy engagements for organizations like Dell, Microsoft, NBC Universal, HomeAway, and dozens of early-stage tech and digital media titans.
- Amber Atkins who leads Design Strategy for IBM Services and Co-Founded Austin Design Week
- Cindy Lo who is the Amazon best selling author of Behind the Red Velvet Curtain and owner of Red Velvet Events
The people who come to Seat at the Table are innovators, influencers, and forward-thinkers.
They are decision-makers at their current companies. They are new entrepreneurs who understand the value of the relationships that come from an event like this. They are aspiring entrepreneurs hungry for face time with the people they admire.
How the night will play out:
Guests arrive at 6:30pm. They grab their drink of choice and spend 30 minutes meeting the other people in the room.
At 7:00, everyone takes their seat. Family style food will be placed on the table while the first speaker gives a 10 minute presentation. She'll sit down then everyone will have a chance to eat, discuss, and collaborate.
Next, the main course is served and the second speaker stands up. She’ll speak for 5-10 minutes.
Rinse and repeat for the dessert course.
