We have a couple of Requirements for Volunteering:
1. Volunteers need to reside in the Austin area, or be familiar with Austin.
We have found that working with folks from outside the area that Austin can be a bit overwhelming. We also have specific roles that would require you to be familiar with the area.
2. Scheduling for about 12 or 24 hours of volunteer activity. There are activities before and during the event, as well needs at evening dinners when you can accumulate those hours. This should give you plenty of time to see the Speakers you are interested in and participate in Workshops too. Your Team Leader will work with you on your schedule.
3 Being available for Team Orientation within a few weeks ahead of the event. These will be coordinated by the Team Leader who will work with the team members on scheduling. They will do their best to accommodate individual schedules, both for meetings and all other volunteer activities.
