Oct. 12 – 13, 19 – 20:
Nightmare on Jail Hill Haunted House takes place at the Old Williamson County Jail at 312 Main Street, Georgetown. This rumored haunted jailhouse, which held prisoners from 1889 through 1990, has been featured on the popular show, “Ghost Hunters.” The event runs from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. each night. Fast Pass tickets are $25, adult tickets are $15 and child tickets are $5 (ages 8-12). All proceeds benefit the Brown Santa program. *The historic jail is NOT handicap accessible.
Oct. 12 – 13 and 26 – 27:Ghosts on the Square Tours are hosted by the Williamson Museum. Tour times: 7:30, 8:00, 8:30 and 9:00 p.m. for both weekends. Tours held at 9 p.m. will be scarier than the earlier tours. Purchase tickets online, at the Williamson Museum or by phone at 512- 943-1670. Tickets are $20 for non-museum members and $15 for members and students.
Oct. 12 - Nov 4:
The Addams Family, an original story featuring the Addams family characters about what happens when Wednesday Addams brings home a sweet, smart young man from a normal family to meet her parents. The show will take place Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. Tickets are $32 for adults and $15 for children (13 and younger) and can be purchased online, at the box office or by phone at 512-869-7469.
Oct. 28:8th Annual Boo Bash, hosted by The Downtown Georgetown Association, is a family-friendly trick-or-treat event around Georgetown Square. Adults and children are encouraged to dress in costume and participate in “Trunk or Treat”. The free event runs from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. and includes food vendors and a DJ.
