We're bringing the Australian outback to Austin, Texas, as we kickstart summer with a party "Down Under!" On Friday, June 15, we're celebrating the opening of "Ancestral Modern: Australian Aboriginal Art from the Kaplan & Levin Collection," our new exhibition. Join us for an evening of eclectic music, tasty bites & beverages, and more -- all inspired by this colorful contemporary art from some of Australia's leading Aboriginal artists. MUSIC: Our event begins with Will Taylor + Strings Attached who will present some original music inspired by our new exhibition, followed by DJs Butcher Bear & soundfounder of Exploded Drawing to keep the party going into the night.
FOOD & DRINK: Your favorite bartenders from The North Door will be there to wet your whistle. Tasty bites from eateries including the Blanton Cafe will be available for purchase.
ACTIVITIES: Drop by our Meredith Lounge and strike a pose at our photo booth, courtesy of MYEVENTISTHEBOMB before customizing your own picture frame to take home your printed memento!

GUIDED TOURS OF "Ancestral Modern" are available at 6:00 pm, 6:30 pm & 7:00 pm. Tickets go quickly so be sure to sign up for a tour as soon as you can.
