Whether you like it hot or mild, spicy or sweet, salsa always brings something special to the table!
SFC Guest Chef Raymundo Rios returns to Sustainable Food Center’s The Happy Kitchen, this time to teach you how to make authentic Mexican salsas that feature the best of summer's fruits and vegetables. You will learn how to make a variety of cooked and raw salsas, how to identify different types of chile peppers, and how to choose the right pepper for your heat and flavor preferences.
Parts of this class will be hands-on, so please come ready to cook. You are also welcome to bring your own cerveza!
We will sample what we make, but it will not be a complete meal.
- Classes are for adults. Youth ages 12 and up may attend with purchase of an additional ticket and close parent/guardian supervision during class.
- Registration closes two business days before class. All attendees must purchase tickets to attend. No walk-ins allowed.
- All payments are final and non-refundable. However, we would be happy to transfer your spot in this class to someone else if you cannot attend.
