Neill-Cochran House Museum

The Neill-Cochran House Museum is excited to host students from the Butler School of Music for an afternoon of chamber music in our historic surroundings.

Housed in the University of Texas at Austin, the Butler School of Music regularly partners with Texas Performing Arts, the Blanton Museum, the Harry Ransom Center, the LBJ Library and many other centers and special programs. Their annual presentation of 500+ concerts, recitals, operas and other special musical events brings musical luminaries to the UT campus and provides unparalleled experiences for its students as well as the broader Austin community.

The instrumental performance programs at the Butler School of Music place a strong emphasis on chamber music not just as an art form in itself, but also as a vehicle for engaging with a wide range of audiences and developing professional skills that underpin exciting careers in music both traditional and innovative. Current and former Butler School students hold positions of leadership throughout the Austin performing arts community, including organizations such as Austin Chamber Music Center, Austin Classical Guitar Society, Tetractys, prismatx and more.
