Diabetes Boot Camps in Taylor, 3 Other Baylor Scott & White Locations

Baylor Scott & White’s “Diabetes Boot Camp” teaches you how to measurably control diabetes in multiple ways during a four, 2½-hour classes held over a single month. The four-class courses are offered through the end of 2017 in Cedar Park, Georgetown/Sun City, Round Rock and Taylor. Topics include diabetes symptoms, treatment goals, glucose monitoring, reading food labels, dining out, healthy fats, foot care, stress reduction and dietary supplements. Physician referral is required. Ask your Scott & White doctor to send a referral for Ambulatory Diabetes Education via the Epic system. Whitestone Blvd., Cedar Park, TX 78613: 2:30 to 5 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month (April 6, May 4, June 8, July 6, Aug. 3, Sept. 7, Oct. 5, Nov. 2, Dec. 7). Scott and White Clinic – Georgetown (Sun City), 4945 Williams Drive, Georgetown, TX 78633: 1 to 3:30 pm on the first or second Monday of each month (April 3, May 1, June 5, July 10, Aug. 7, Sept. 11, Oct. 9, Nov. 6, Dec. 4).
