Controvery & Conversation Film Screening: "Code Black"

Code Black in a hospital describes an event where the number of people in need of medical attention exceeds the hospital’s resources. This 2013 documentary follows the story of a dedicated team of charismatic, young doctors-in-training as they wrestle openly with both their ideals and with the realities of saving lives in a complex and overburdened system. Join us for a reception at 6:30pm. The screening will begin at 7pm, to be followed by a brief conversation. Controversy & Conversation is a collaboration between the Difficult Dialogues Program and the Austin Public Library. Please join us for these upcoming film screening, on the first Thursday of every month. All screenings are free and opent to the public.
