11th Annual Paint the Town

Organized by the Highland Lakes Creative Arts non-profit, Paint the Town is one of the Top Five Plein Air events in the State of Texas. 40 juried artists painting in historic Marble Falls, along the lake and on private locations in the surrounding countryside; maps provided so visitors can watch the artists at work. March 30th - April 1st, three days with an extensive Exhibit & Sales Gallery, "Wet Wall" Gallery of the event works, food, live music and demonstrations. Eric Rhoads, publisher of Plein Air and Fine Art connoisseur magazines is judging and presenting "Today's Plein Air Movement and How Artists and Collectors can Benefit". Friday "Nocturnal Paint Out" competition. Saturday "Quick Draw" open to public participation - paint with the artists - $10.00 registration fee. Thursday night "Hard Hat Open" reception for members and sponsors - join today and attend - www.hlcarts.com. Friday evening, ticketed "Introducing 2017 Paint the Town" reception and Saturday evening, ticketed "2017 Paint the Town Meet the Artist" reception
