WHO: Texas Keeper Cider and Two Hives Honey
WHAT: Texas Keeper and Two Hives Honey, are teaming up once again tobring Texans their first and only festival to celebrate all things honey! Come out to the Cidery for a day of honey and bee education and revelry.Take a tour with Tara Chapman of Two Hives Honey of an active hive while she gives a talk about beekeeping history. Learn about bee-friendly wildflowers and make native wildflower seed bombs with Farmshare. Local honey purveyors will be offering honey on and off comb for purchase, and chefs and other local artisans will be on-site with honey and bee-inspired delectables, including bee-inspired Bee Amour, Bee TreeFarm, Confituras, Lox Box & Barrel, Puli-Ra, Rohan Meadery, SPUN Ice cream, and Texas French Bread. Texas Keeper is releasing their Honey Thief Cyser (honey and apple fermented together). Meads from all over Texas will also be available by the pour, as well as Texas Keeper’s own ciders and their typical extensive menu of guest ciders and wines.10% of ticket purchases go to the Houston Beekeeping Association to support the rebuilding efforts of beekeepers affected by Hurricane Harvey.
